Timeline doesn’t work and status quo platforms don’t have the incentives to solve this (it goes against their business model). This requires open protocol.

I only use LN with few friends. For years now, whenever im paying someone I ask “Venmo, ApplePay, … or bitcoin?” And they only laugh.

With hodling bitcoin, its changing. Every bull run a couple of friends come to me asking “so can you help me setup a wallet?” So maybe its just gonna take some time.

It’s a very naive prototype of showing messages grouped by people. When you open the app, it only shows summary of the new messages since last time I opened the app. So I don’t miss messages from people I follow and don’t need to scroll.

The LLM summary sucks. I will try to play with that a little bit to see if it gets more useful.

I have QubesOS laptop and GrapheneOS phone, but it’s so much work to maintain that I always end up using iPhone and Mac.

If you don’t use any prop software yourself, hats off and respect to you!

Is there any simpler podcast player that does v4v and works?

Last time I tried, I downloaded bunch of episodes to listen on a plane as usually, but then it didn’t work offline.

I really want to use Fountain but I swear every time I try it upsets me.

I was just listening to a podcast, then paused and ate lunch. Then I tried to resume the episode, not even using the OS controls but actually opening the app and it’s all gone and the episode starts again.

Amazing! Really hope this Jack delivers on the promise… It says second half of 2025 and 2026, legal approval pending… 🤞
