He said his name was Sergey and that he was from Russia, but in reality he was an IRS CI infiltrating the meetup. It wasn’t until two years later that we found out. You think they might be on nostr too?
Peach has no plans to expand to the US. This strikes me as a bit odd. Curious to know the reason

Basically the US government’s position is that peer to peer bitcoin exchanges are illegal, so peach would face charges or be forced to shutdown if they operated in the US.
The utility in this case is being able to quickly transfer WBTC and USDT to an exchange in order to take advantage of the arb opportunity. Basically just using ETH as a layer 2.
With the fiat ramps being choked out, it’s once again profitable to arbitrage trade.
Maybe if you zap it enough it will go away?
Nostr gaining critical mass. It feels like the digg exodus to Reddit days.
We moved all the manufacturing to China and wonder why this is all happening.
According to ["A message from Ray"](https://paxful.com/sign-up-transition), Paxful is closing shop immediately!
Cal me paranoid but that feels like part of "chokepoint 2.0".

We accepted bitcoin at our restaurant from day one (2015) and in the seven years of running it, and I’ll be honest barely anyone actually used it.
Yeah we had Bitcoin Pizza day, a Max Keiser party, and catered pizza to a Bitcoin Magazine sponsored Halloween party. But the average daily usage was darn near zero.
The fact is merchant onboarding is futile without onboarding the merchant’s customers.
We’re building Zapback to finally solve merchant onboarding once and for all.
Lightning powered Zapback rewards puts bitcoin in the retail shopper’s wallet to onboard the masses.
Ordinals, Stamps, BRC-20…. Don’t you see the shitcoinery?
Most importantly freedom requires a subscription.
It’s just a April fools joke, right?
It’s like everyone on nostr just heard about GPT today.
I keep seeing all these NIP related posts in my feed and now I think of this photo every time.

Henry would love #bitcoin
