I meet people who are „scared“ to distance themselves from the „state“ and it’s politics. They think, „leaving“ it behind might lead to „wrong“
developments, rascism taking over, etc.
Trying to find a good argumentation for spending ones time and energy on „building“ and spreading #Bitcoin , rather then arguing statist problems…

It’s a bit abstract and difficult to explain to people, who are not deeply in Bitcoin though, who are still into the „political“ game, left, right, etc.
I like the point with personal responsibility and to „find“
to yourself. That will automatically make you strive and try to be a better person.

Super interesting to learn about #hawala system, dating back 1.200 years to early Indian and Arab Traders.
Used by both, Muslims and non-Muslims, its a decentralised system of specialised money brokers, based fully on #trust and #reputation.
It was used to make remittances between people over long distances and across country borders.

Not agreeing with all what he said and wrote, but the above I believe is accurate, and can probably be translated also into times of #Bitcoin replacing precious metals as a harder and better form of money evolving.
Ich schildere noch kurz den Trigger für meinen Post.
In einem Podcast spricht Marko #Pesic über seine Geschichte im deutschen Basketball 🏀, als einer der erfolgreichsten deutschen Spieler.
Dazu hat er einen Vater, der ein sehr erfolgreicher Trainer war und ist, der ihm einmal den Ratschlag gegeben hat, er solle „für den Basketball leben“ und nicht ein reines „vom Basketball leben“-Mindset pflegen.
Das würde ihm nach seiner Karriere entsprechende Möglichkeiten eröffnen.
Heute ist Marko Pesic erfolgreich als Geschäftsführer FC Bayern Basketball.
Und da fand ich die Denkweise super treffend, „für“ etwas zu leben, und nicht „von“.
Es war absolut nicht gedacht als politische Meinung oder Anspielung.
