FX is apparently working on a TV series based on the FC games. I only ever played FC5, but I really enjoyed the game and the story was amazing to me, so this definitely has me curious.

Caught a couple of matches in the indies circuit today. Indi Hartwell, Priscilla Kelly, and Xia Brookside seem to be doing pretty well so far. I also love how hard Shotzi Blackheart is leaning into her indie run.

Alex Windsor can still go. Someone once posted a link to her match with Jamie Hayter back in EVE, I watched, and that was a slobberknocker; so good. I'd like to see more wrestlers in the WD get some stories, so fans can get more easily and deeply invested in seeing them.
I don't know what the promo is going to do with Statlander. From a promotional standpoint I see why they'd stick her with the DR, but kayfabe-wise, I see Thekla more as a DR, but I also see why Thekla with SoS is good. I'm hoping she'll bring out more aggression in them.
Still trying to get used to seeing Juice Robinson without facial hair. That's going to take some time. Glad to see he's crazy as ever and a feud with Big Bill looks like it will be fun to see.
I love how Tay took the fight to Megan Bayne. Her aggression since coming back to the ring has been awesome to see. I also love how Bayne is being presented; just a dominant powerhouse of a wrestler.
I'm SO INVESTED in how Athena is tackling this whole story with Toni Storm. You can tell that Athena is fighting Toni right out of the gate on the focus and direction of their interactions. I think she's matching TS's promo energy seamlessly. What's going to happen next?

It's morbidly humorous to me to hear about people having #psychotic breakdowns from using AI chatbots, but I think it's more telling of the person's real need for person-to-person therapy/counseling. AI chatbots, as of July 2025, are seemingly just plain language information search engines.
They're just tools. A means to an information end. To treat a tool as anything more than that is to be self-telling, psychologically speaking, but that's OK if it helps someone realize an issue they're having and if it helps them seek help.

Still working on opening a lightning channel. Need about 20k more sats. Should open the channel and leave enough in there to keep it open and for zapping. I guess I'll just need to make sure to do SOMETHING on the network once every three weeks or so.
I like how simple Kryptex is to use. Even on my little desktop PC with a low-power GPU. As long as I don't treat it like a full-blown mining machine, it's all good. Slow going, as expected, but, hey, every day, I'm getting closer. I'm still 5 zeros in, but looking forward to one of the zeros to the right of the currency dot disappearing eventually. I'd like to get to a place in life where I can buy some cheapo desktop machine with a decent GPU, put kryptex on it, and just let it sit there mining 24/7.

Recently, I saw that the guy who ran the Silk Road marketplace on Tor, and then got arrested, and is now out of jail, got millions in bitcoin gifts/donations(?).
I have no idea, obviously, but I feel like those weren't people just giving out of any sense of altruistic kindness or to help someone who is probably already rich.
I took a quick peek at the wiki page of the guy; apparently either the boyscout codes have changed to facilitate illegal activities or he figured out the truth behind the American Exceptionalism smokescreen.
I learned about agorism, which is cute on paper, but, given the depths by which some depraved humans will sink to get what they want, would very likely not work in reality. Unfortunately, violence is kith and kin to the human experience. We are not but animals with a 1% genetic advantage over our nearest evolutionary cousins.
Getting back to the dude though, I'm morally on-board with a silk road like situation, but I'd like to see one where human trafficking is weeded out. I'm guessing if people could anonymously get illegal stuff from that place, getting non-consenting people was probably on the shelf as well. That's bad.
Of course, we could just, ya know, legalize recreational drugs globally, and let people be grown-ups and make their own decisions regarding them, provide help, instead of jail, for people who destroy their lives because of them, like people do with tobacco and alcohol. Then, there wouldn't necessarily be a need for a silk road. I get it, though, some apes in leadership positions somewhere are profiting off addiction, prison, and all the other horrible things humans are doing to each other, so we're never going to be allowed to be grown-ups.
Greed has monetized infantilization.
Created a film commentary video a few weeks ago. It needs an intro and post-film commentary. I have my notes, I have the equipment, but ya know what I don't have? Executive function enough to actually do it, even though I don't mind doing it at all, and it's been on my mind to get that done since I finished the initial video. Hopped onto Kryptex to start mining for some sats. If all things go as planned, and if I actually get the sats I'm mining, I should have enough to re-open my zappy channel in a few months. 😄 I liken it to a little mining program running "in the background" on my Win machine while I do other non-cpu intensive stuff.
I've always like the idea of letting my computer work to make me money, so if this works out, I think I'll just keep mining. I saw that I could be a part of a pool and all that, but I like just going it on my own; feels much more peaceful to me that way, even though the "payout" is likely much smaller.
Simplicity is where peace of mind lies for me. 👍 🧘♂️
TIL that if you don't use your lightning wallet/channel for a month, it gets closed and your sats sit on-chain, and in order to keep a channel open, I'll have to shell out the BTC equivalent of $22 USD, as of the date of this post, that I literally don't have, every time it closes. There will be months where I won't use that channel at all because I won't be engaged in the network. The monetary side of this network is not for poor people. Ahh well, at least I still have my lightning address...for now.
Man, these relays are something else. I guess I need to give the network time to propagate my posts. Hopefully, there will be less duplicates as I figure things out.

Here's a post from the noStrudel web client. With the crossposting issue I noticed when I posted from Iris, I verified on the PC and mobile devices that they are all using the same relays and all the relays are activated and active, , that I'm using the same key to login to all client services, but my posts from web clients still aren't showing up on the mobile client apps and vice versa.
On my last post, I mentioned that I thought that notes and other kinds of posts were tied to my pub key, but I guess I should have realized at the time that its most likely going to be tied to a private key.
It's a shame really because I spend more time on a PC than I do mobile devices, so here we are back to spending more time posting separately between mobile and desktop clients. It's the nature of nascent tech, but maybe eventually someone will figure it out.

I'm under the impression that your post history is client agnostic, no? Tied o your pub key? I noticed on Coracle that posts I made there weren't propagating to my mobile clients and vice versa, despite same relays, or maybe I was supposed to set something else up that I hadn't.
