Well, I don't know if it's fate or coincidence that this happened. I slept for 3 hours and decided to go on a bike ride this morning, mostly to get rid of my allergies, and I saw a woman on the ground hollering at me. She had fallen off her porch and broke her leg and back! She had been there for 3 hours! Noone helped her! She met eyes with the mailman, neighbor, another dude on a bike and asked them for help. And Noone stopped to help her😔.

What the fuck is wrong with people?

Parademdics came and took her to the hospital.

My purpose is served for the day 🙏 🙌 ✨️

Sometimes we get too caught up in our personal day to day. But this was blatantly crying for help. 🥺

In college, my job was Vet Medicine librarian. When I moved to Fairhope 35 years ago, I worked at tge library. Throughout my life, libraries have been my haven, my strength, my future and my past. The smell of the stacks and the card catalog is as transcendent as you find it. The archives in the downtown Birmingham library feels like home.

I can't read a kindle. It doesn't hit the same. I also like the smell of books 📚
