October 12th is the day of the encounter of cultures, since on October 12th, 1492, Cristóbal Colón “discovered” America. A date that only reminds us of the genocide of our people, the plundering of our resources, the imposition of their religion, the racial hierarchy and the loss of our own culture. There is nothing to celebrate.
