I’d be extremely surprised if anything other than ‘fear, uncertainty, and doubt’ is the theme of these hearings. Why do I say that? Because the word ‘crypto’ is used by many to frame Bitcoin thusly. Bitcoin is not ‘crypto’. The thousands of alternative coins are almost all scams. They typically have pre-distributed coins given to founders, teams, marketing departments, paid ‘influencers’ and so forth. That is the opposite of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is HOPE. Bitcoin creates incentives for clean energy and efficient honest money—something the world hasn’t seen in over a 100 years. Drive through countless American towns with wonderful human scaled downtowns and beautiful sturdy, and ornate buildings that people still love. They were ALL built on sound, hard money. Our current debt based fake dollars are in reality counterfeited routinely by our government. The purchasing power over the last 100 years is the proof.
Leave Bitcoin alone. It only exists because of the massive and continual degradation of the American dollar. It is a peaceful revolution, and I think the Founding Fathers would be huge fans!
