The pogrom that settlers performed in Huwara village tonight is a direct result of Zionism. Jewish Supremacy - which is what Zionism is - couldn't have possibly lead to any other outcome. History has taught us that dehumanising the other leads to genocide. But we didn't listen.
The Israeli media perpetuates the myth that Jews aren't allowed to enter the temple mount, or Al-Aqsa as the Muslims call it. This allegedly gives leverage to keep up the oppressive policies towards Palestinians, on the grounds of "discrimination against Jews", when in fact there are millions of Muslim Palestinians who aren't allowed into Jerusalem, just because they happen to be born in the west bank or Gaza. #freedomefromtherivertothesea is justice and nothing less. Now THAT'S something worth praying for.
