I guess for this to work,he will need to have a wallet built into Damus, team with a 3rd party to sell bitcoin to the users. He can also discuss how the 3rd party would give 70% of the funds in sats to the wallet of user. And 30% of the funds, would remain fiat, sent back to an account held by dames. Then forwarded to apples pay team.
He needs to have a 3rd party, example on trust wallet. You can buy bitcoin, but you don't buy it from trust wallet. You use a 3rd party provider such as simplex, moonpay etc. Then the funds are sent to your wallet address (wallet built into future damus)
I think to process this faster, will should reach out to a wallet provider (example wallet of satoshi or any LN wallet), and ask for assistance in incorporating the code Into damus.

I understand what you mean, have a built in wallet on damus, to top it up you use fiat, 30% goes to apple. 70% is turned into Sats for the wallet built in the damus app. That's an amazing approach
Dames would need to host the wallet, keep records of the wallet, convert to fiat (recommended daily, or else if price moves, damus team would need to make up) then send fiat to proper Apple channel. 🍎

A large amount of end users wouldn't distrust this though.
30% would go to the dev team, they would convert to dollars, send to Apple. There would be a lot of paper work and legalities. It is possible. But my God it would be a challenge.
