Yeah… So far I’ve spent a lot of time after 2020 to analyze absolutely everything I have been involved in since I started working at 14-15, and almost ALL of it was distorted by fiat one way or another!

The best part of buidling a business on #Bitcoin only is perhaps that you have a good shot at eliminating all middlemen :-)

Also been going through some standard startup templates and beliefs the past weeks, the all have to be adjusted at a minimum. Interesting times ahead indeed! nostr:note1g85u5n9l63dywcuuzcjfewmh5ylda5taf632w488r6sr2lr8g0nsfhzrlp

I saw the name that is printed in full in my passport the other day in an account of mine, it felt sooo alien by now hahaha!

But finding me IRL is maybe doable, some random street dog might know & rat me out for a steak ;-)

Feeding street #dogstr once again got more complicated all of a sudden… They were all hiding so I tried talking some dog that I picked up from our (not so) tame dog, which made a LOT of them emerge!

There were twice as many as I thought, upwards of two dozen, and this time one of them was warning the others all along, even after I finished emptying 4 cans… So getting away from there was the only thing to do, for now.

With this many of them someone might call the municipality, or object to feeding them, so next time I think I need to open & prepare cans for instant dumping, more or less while passing along haha… We will see soon!

Minus 40 in a tent is what we experienced haha, but when you know how to do it & your body is still young it can actually be great :-)

I would not have a problem living off grid outside of the tropics at all, it’s a great experience BUT resources is different, firewood & food would be literally everything 24/7

But off grid close to where that can be bought? No problem, done that a lot!

Registered now, if there is a spot left I might do Indonesia & then HK :-)

I thought #nostrasia was fully booked & also living on a super tight budget…

But then again inaction is often worse than getting started anew!

So… Are everyone going to Tokyo or is Hong Kong also gonna be a great opportunity to meet & mingle with the global Nostrich community?

Most have not experienced that for sure, even when I was in the army we had power all the time (signal corp), but not for heating - minus 40 C/F is interesting haha…

Living in old boats & vans in the summer was great though, but would not like to do so in the tropics!

Cold is easier to deal with off grid as long as you’ve got wood, oil or coal to burn of course. Rain and dampness on the other hand can be hell even in tempered climates…

Reminds me of when a business partner of mine bought a genset for his web dev guy in Kathmandu haha, it worked somehow, was in the years when you could do dev work offline :-)

Haha yeah that is how it rolls, fix something and they all gang up at your forever!

I once fixed a pager using dental floss (slightly elastic, great for keeping things in contact) and for the rest of the 2 years eeeeverone came to me with random, broken shit hahaha

I bet! These days I guess new, young ones need re-education too haha, at least in Europistan…

But what do I know really, I’ve let them tamper on my engines & stuff less than a dozen times the 3 decades I drove classics and beaters haha!

It’s all about just keeping it running, like the Detroit 8v-92 I had in my boat, that was a wild project…
