My wife is the greatest.
While I’m mobilized she took the kids and drove for two days so they could see my parents. Staying with them and making dinner for everyone.
She also made sure to visit my friends and face time me while doing that.

I play two #DandD (5e) games a month and have been playing since 1979.
Recently I started playing the #CypherSystem. It is a different system, a bit simpler and very versatile. Last two posts talked about combat and starting to build your Character.
Unlike D&D your attributes in Cypher System are "Might" "Speed" "Intellect". Each attribute has a "Pool" and "Edge" associated with it. (these are used to lower the CR of an event - jumping off a moving stage coach, hitting a Dragon, hacking the interweb.)
The stats are based off your Type, that is the "noun" in the "I am an Adjective Noun who Verbs".
Each type has a breakdown of base points per Stat, and you get 6 more points to distribute.

I'm a big fan of D&D and have been playing since 1979. (but that is another story). About five years ago, I started playing #CypherSystem.
In a prior post I talked about how challenges are done (combat, skill tests, actions). This is about making a character.
All Characters in Cypher System start with the following statement: "Name" is a "Descriptor" "Type" who "Focus". Or "Name is an Adjective, Noun who Verbs"
My name Is Inigo Montoya, I am a Questing Swordsman who is looking for my fathers killer.
Or "Bob, is a Lazy, Fighter who likes animals."
From there you build your character.
I’m a big player of #TTRPG table top roll playing games. The best known is #DandD (Dungeons and Dragons) currently in its 5th edition (or seventh if you count AD&D player option as one and 3.5/3.75 as another)
I like other systems as well.
One I’m really enjoying is Monty Cook Games’ #CypherSystem.
The Game Master sets a challenge rating between 0 and 10. You have to roll higher than 3 times the challenge on a d20.
A CR 1 means a three or higher on a 20 sided dice.
You used your abilities, tools, partners, and skills to lower the CR.
That is it.

Since Apple was mean to #Damus my wallet has been untouched by zaps.
I have to get on my computer and use a different app to send zaps.
The “good” news is I think this shows that people were really using Damus as their main #NOSTR app.
Would love to see some work around so I can start zapping with a click.
