Very disturbing fact was posted about the “shut down” of Medicaid by AOC
She said 41% of all births are paid for by Medicaid.
#Medicaid is a no cost insurance for those at or below poverty level.
So 41% of kids are born in poverty? The census says it’s less than 12% (which is still too high)

Renewed my National Registry today.
My main state does not require NR to be licensed. The other three require it or strongly encourage it.
I keep it because it makes moving to another state easier unless you go to NY.
Three hours, four transports to the ER.
Each for “feeling sick”.
None had taken Anything from over the counter.
“So you did not take ibuprofen? Tylenol? Pepto-Bismol?”

I don’t know who needs to hear this (well actually I do), but if you have a stroke and get home, one of the first things not to do is smoke spice and have a cocaine chaser.

Calling 911 because you have been sick all day does not mean the EMS will arrive lights and sirens.
You have a low grade fever and tummy ache, that is not worth putting others at risk just so you can avoid an uber charge.

If you call EMS because you are drunk and have anxiety, getting upset when asked “what hospital do you want to go to” is not EMS telling you to get in your car and speed off.
That is you telling EMS you want to talk to the police.
