The Netherlands indeed feel a bit of a freedom. It is 5pm, and although firework rockets are permitted, it sounds like war already.
Love it 😂
Rocket Beans!
So true, RIP Dad
Home Assistant Matter Hub just revolutionized my Smart Home
Happy birthday, Dad. I hope you’re doing well up there.
„When people stop talking, really bad stuff starts. When marriages stop talking, divorce happens. When civilizations stop talking, civil war ensues. When you stop having a human connection with someone you disagree with, it becomes a lot easier to want to commit violence against that group.
What we as a culture have to get back to is being able to have reasonable disagreement, where violence is not an option.“
Charlie Kirk, rest in peace…
HCPI 54, here I am! Let‘s fucking go!

When I switched to Knots, it happened as part of a server rebuild. I had to renew everything from scratch, and at the same time the OP_RETURN discussion started. I liked, and still like, that there is another implementation, and I’m convinced there need to be more. So I was curious and installed Knots. However, in the case of Knots, I do worry not only that there is just one maintainer behind the software, but also that it’s Luke 😂. I don’t share many of his quirks, the events surrounding the loss of his Bitcoin are strange, and I find his stance on censoring Ordinals worthy of criticism. Bitcoin should be and remain censorship-resistant, whether we like the transactions or not.
So the experiment is now over, and I realize I feel safer knowing that multiple developers stand behind Core and that decisions are negotiated. v30 can be criticized, and I’ll keep an eye on it. Until then, Core 29.0 is running.
After Knots I wandered, curious and free,
Exploring the forks of the blockchain sea.
But home calls softly, with a steady roar,
I return at last... to Bitcoin Core.
Blocks fall in line, like a familiar song,
A rhythm of code where I truly belong.
Knots had their thrill, a detour, a lore,
Yet nothing feels right like Bitcoin Core.
Spent some to pay my „Platzreifekurs“ this week 😅 felt great, too

If someone were to ask me what the best part of my Switzerland trip was…

Zero Bitchat Users so far, walked 5km through Zürich, Limmat up and down, Altstadt. Kinda disappointing…
GM Zürich! I am wondering how much BitChat Users I‘ll find here

Discussion with my wife, always:
Subject: A butterfly‘s wing beat
Result: Tornado F5
🙈🤣
No, not really, though I have to say that it is not that intuitive as an Apple Watch at first. And if you‘re used to using Apples Fitness Ring System and competition with friends, this is over. Garmin is able to share Trainings with Apple Health und you can keep tracking everything there, but the separate fitness app is dead. Also, you‘re not able to answer to messages directly on the phone (only Android). Last but not least, if you‘re paying with the watch, check if your bank is supported by Garmin Pay. Apple Pay is supported by more banks currently.
I am happy about thousands of custom watchfaces, sport apps, the battery life, the training and activity tracking
Any golfers on nostr? #golf

Nevermind, solved
—config in the command was the key
