I followed #[4] setup with 140mm noctuas and the small noctua for the psu. is working like a charm. its not putting out as much heat as i would have wanted but very quiet.

don’t assign an exit node for the machine with your ln node and you should be good.. other machines you may want to provide a public interface that obfuscates your real ip… eg web server, nostr relay

I see it as a poc for eventual federated mints.
I may trust a federation with some sats to use as spending money given the privacy benefits — even if they were KYCed.
We may, and hopefully will, get to a world where the chain and LN will be too expensive for newcomers. If we are to have custodial bitcoin, it’s better that the custody is federated and that there are at least privacy benefits vs. self-custodial uses.
