Friend of mine here in Spain lost his job last November. He's been trying to get a bailout (social) since then. Got his notification this week, €33 "rent assistance". That's how bailouts work for "the people" these days.

Makes you wonder why you'd pay tax or social security....

There is a full-on run on the bank at First Republic today. People lined up out the doors of their branches moving their money out. Kind of insane. First Republic was *probably* fine. But a full on bank run is almost certainly going to cause them to collapse on Monday.

It’s funny how in elementary school they don’t tell you why Lexington and Concord kicked off the Revolutionary War. You only learn about the Boston Tea Party. The war kicked off because the British came to take away the guns. A very inconvenient fact they leave out in schooling today.

Click the center icon at the bottom that is the square with the arrow up and click “Add to Home Screen”. When you open Nostrnests it looks like an app and doesn’t show the address bar in safari. Cheers!
