It's about a perfect time right now, because around 5PM there's a #zapathon every Thu and Fri. People throw wild zaps around for half an hour and if you write about being new and use that hashtag, there's higher chance you'll get zapped. You can then keep it or later zap something, whatever. Again, it's cents.

You don't have to. So far Nostr is mostly an echochamber of Bitcoin and ancap, you'll pick up knowledge very soon.😀 Take the wallet app and zap thing as things to have fun with.
