here is what worked for me: 1. I write during breakfast 2. I accepted the fact that my page should not be an example of great storytelling, actually it’s full of random dummy thoughts but this is the point - allow yourself to write whatever you want and do not care about the beauty of thoughts and words

You’ll be amazed and terrified at the same time, no regrets)

If you're looking for something to get your heart racing and give you chills just by watching a video on YouTube, check out the story of Natty Patty Cave and John Jones 😵

Over a year ago, I got so anxious about my anxiety that I decided to do something about it. That’s when I started building a morning routine to calm myself down. I didn’t add everything all at once, but here’s what I do every morning now, and I feel so much better for it:

- Walk the dog (this used to be my husband’s job!)

- A refreshing shower with lots of moisturizer

- A few light stretches or simple exercises

- Breakfast

- Write a page of whatever’s on my mind in my journal

- Read at least one page from a book

- Think of one thing I’m grateful for

- Fill out my emotion diary

- Check my personal goals and make sure I’m staying on track

It sounds like a lot, but I’m so used to it that when I skip it (like when I’m traveling), it just doesn’t feel right. This routine has been a game-changer for my anxiety and helps me start the day on the right foot. #photostr #nostr

Got a pretty unpleasant notification today that hit me hard. It turns out I spent over a full day last week just scrolling through social media and news. Totally not in line with my goal of cutting back on easy dopamine distractions. At first, I was frustrated, but then I realized that this is actually empowering. Now I can see the problem, own it, and work on doing better next week and week after and after. Little by little, I’m taking my time back 💪 #Nostr #photostr

Thank you ☺️ Glad to be here

what I know for sure is that I do not want to live my life being anxious about things I cannot control

so I had to figure out different ways how to trick my mind to ease my anxiety 🤪

Hi #Nostr. My name is Yu, and I have a fear of getting older (I'm 25, btw). I try to ease this fear in different ways. Here is one tip that always helps me: when I travel the world, I love seeing older people doing the same things I do - climbing mountains, taking pictures, having fun. It gives me hope that life doesn't stop as you age, and that it can become even more joyful with time.
