There is always a choice.
You can choose to stop using tech. You can move to the mountain or deep country where there is not internet.
I can understand why few would make this choice. There are many reasons and incentives to not.
Heck, even I wouldn't. And this makes me fundamentally a weak person.
Not currently I have been playing around with all the wallets I can find. One of the resources I leaned about it from stopped listing it as a recommended wallet. So I thought maybe the BTC community soured on it?
Regardless, I have found it to be pretty and user friendly.
Agreed on your point on acceleration happening anyway, and your point about solutions being legitimate regardless of geographic origin.

As someone who has less than a 100IQ and a former Twitter user, I refuse to believe this.
I think I can understand why some might think those things are good and desirable. In fact, I don't even have to try to understand those Ideas SOUND like good ideas, they even FEEL good.
For example, I don't think a future with no shit jobs is good (or jobs on general). Also UBI is a terrible idea (although will probably be necessary on our present course).
It's weird to me that some people are shocked that not everyone agrees on their vision of the ideal future.
In fairness, the author could be wrong about everything 🤷♂️
