Well maybe because many of us have a commonality of wanting to leave traditional social media platforms. And many of us believe in decentralized hard money. I developed a deep Twitter/x addiction in covid times, and leaving that platform was one of the best things I did for my mental health. I'm currently using nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg, and I love the experience and functionality and nostr in general feels weird and rough around the edges like the early days of the internet (I'm old). Things are still discoverable here.
