So here’s a question, let’s say starts align people wake up and #bitcoin become the world reserve currency. At current tx speeds and level 2 protocols like lighting will we have a sat based economy for day to day purchases or will there be a PoS alt that pegs value to let’s say 1/10 a sat. Allows fast instant finality but has conversion rate to allow the rest of the world to buy/sell at speeds they are accustomed to.

Let’s take #Algorand as an example. Near instant payment finality & control over what assets you allow to be placed in your wallet.

But i don’t think it make sense to have less bitcoin than the wallet is worth so give it to someone with actual bags to protect

I don’t think I have enough bitcoin to merit a cold card right now but it’s definitely on my checklist.

Don’t get the church confused with the book. Interpretation & dogma have totally twisted those teachings.

Im planning on offering produce at a discount if paid in sats. 0.99/lb or 100 sats/lb. Gotta work out the math so i still make enough to keep the lights on but you get the idea

Imagine the cost of a cup of coffee in Sats when the economy is #bitcoin based. 4 sats for a cup.

Sound low? When Sats are the unit of currency for day to day tx it suddenly seems very plausible

But what about war that was waged between city states which had their own reserve backed currencies.

I would say war in the modern sense of professional military’s with forward operating bases are a result of PoS.

It’s far easier to pay for these costs from taxation.

By that time I’ll also have paid off so much if it it’s just a few grand left and it wouldn’t be worth it. Or the entire economy has moved to the btc standard and sats are common currency as faster payment protocols are made.

Some of thought I was kidding at running a local roadside produce stand & accepting sats for goods. I assure you while I will still accept cash until more people take the #orangepill there will be a discount for those who choose to pay in #bitcoin
