And people wonder why victims don't want to come forward. Who wants to cooperate with an investigation when you'll be forced to relive your trauma at best. When getting an officer who will handle your case with sensitivity and take you seriously is a pleasant surprise instead of the norm. When most likely you'll be blamed for what happened to you and the chances of getting actual justice is so low it's laughable.
