Forging a legendary path, one battle at a time. Exile in the unknown, driven by fate. Conquering the shores of destiny, one heroic stride at a time.

Why did the Bitcoin maximalist refuse to use a map?

Because they believed that the only direction worth going is where the number goes up!

Monero is far superior than Bitcoin, it's really digital cash!

The only vote that matters is the vote you do with your wallet 👊

Let's talk about value4value. I listen to and get value from many podcasts. I'm ruthless and stop listening if they are boring. So when I listen, they are valuable to me. And it does not always mean mind-blowing tech stuff, it can be people who get high and play music.

We have this space age technology where we can stream money, directly to producers of content we value.

And then we send them two cents. I have produced more than a hundred episodes. Many of them have changed lives, literally. My total earn from all value4value was around 35$ - streamed sats and boosts. I don't have sponsors, even though I sometimes promote my own projects. Just the cost to produce one of these is 200$ or more (at least in my time, sometimes I rent a room / studio, although I'm pretty DIY). The cameras and microphones are not free either. Neither is server hosting (I self host, no cloud services, I run my own node).

I am not complaining though. I'm part of the problem. I did not change the default in the app - 10 sats per minute is ridiculous.

I changed my setting to 200 sats per minute to start with. 7 dollars per hour makes sense to me. It's cheaper than the tip I leave for a dinner. But if you have a few listeners that set it up, it might even pay for the production cost.

Your situation might be different. But let's use this space age technology for real, not as a proof of concept to send pennies.

Repost if you do the same. You don't have to do 200 sats/min. Do whatever feels right. It's probably not the default.

V4V it's a nice idea, but it doesn't work in practice.

Seeing into the future, something like...

Elon visits Bukele

Elon finally accepts Bitcoin's proposition

Elon advises Trump government

Bukele advises Elon

Elon brings Bukelism to USA

Bitcoin is adopted as Legal Tender in America

In all seriousness though, this is potentially highly significant. Elon will have seen in his travels in San Salvador, that even McDonald's accepts Bitcoin as payment, including the hotel he was staying at.

Seeing Bitcoin everywhere as a method of payment will not have gone unnoticed (surely) by Elon. He will have been induced to install Wallet of Satoshi, and then paid for a Coca-Cola with Bitcoin with Wallet of Satoshi, instantly.

And no one will have batted an eyelid.

Once you experience this yourself, Bitcoin being used as money for everyday spending and treated as totally normal, you can never un-see it.

Elon's mind would have been reeling at the potential to integrate Bitcoin into any economy, and the tools that will need to be built to make it happen. Tools built by his private army of mad software scientists.

Finally he must, surely, be disabused of his completely wrong ideas about Bitcoin.

If this is the case, the post Bukele Elon will be a much better Elon.

He will stop joking about Bitcoin, and start acting like an adult about the most fundamental problem faced by man today: THE MONEY PROBLEM.

Before man can get to mars

He must fix the money

Before man can solve poverty

He must fix the money

Before man can eliminate inflation

He must fix the money

Before man can prevent war

He must fix the money

Bitcoiners understand all of this, but Elon has not grasped it yet. Other global level execs have.

Michael Saylor, Sundar Pichai, Jack Dorsey, Cathie Wood, Larry Fink, Marc Benioff, Tim Cook, Dan Schulman and Satya Nadella have all accept the truth.

Now, finally, it is Elon's turn.

And he will be ahead of some of these because he has been to El Salvador, and has met with President Nayib Bukele.

We can only hope, amirite?

Haha, do you really think Elon Musk needs a visit to El Salvador to understand Bitcoin? He's one of the smartest people on the planet, not a tech newbie. If he thought Bitcoin was the solution to the money problem, he would have adopted it on a large scale in his companies years ago. He has the resources and influence to make it happen. The fact that he hasn't done so suggests that he has his own reservations about Bitcoin, and it's not just a matter of 'not understanding' the concept. Maybe it's time to consider that Elon Musk has his own reasons for not betting on Bitcoin.

Bitcoiners simp for politicians because they dont care about Freedom Money, they only want Number go up Money.
