Not entirely. There was a successful poc against 50 bit RSA. So, yes we have an idea of what the attacks will be and we can start defending against them. Given that those attacks aren't decades away and messages can be stored and attacked later, it does make sense to start building them now.

Telegram has no group encryption that means you can host giant groups on them which are harder on other platforms. I think groups with for example 50k subscribers are better public posts but it seems to attract people...
