Yes, I did that but mine still has green text. I think the zip in the instructions hasn't been updated in a long time
No, just soapbox on it. Mine is from the latest zip and it still has green text...
Thanks for the reply. For Pleroma there haven't been update some time. Should I get it from git?
It needs a Linux host
Yes, it's a Mastodon frontend that's been adapted to work on Nostr and NOS part of Ditto, which includes a Nostr relay.

Sidequestion, will you keep maintaining Soapbox for the fedivers?
A little transparency smooth animation between components. Not to bright and themable color pallette, smooth edges and search in most places.
The new version fixed this bug.👇

I like the idea. But is there a UI overhaul on the roadmap? SimpleX recently did that and it greatly helps getting new users on board as well as liking to use it more

Women, this is blatantly wrong and it gets retold over and over again. Timing has nothing to do with it, it's genuine belief in him that triggers wanting to commit over a decision that it is time to commit
I agree that it's a bad answer. But I also don't have a better solution, especially for loss of nsecs...

Agreed. Sick of that stuff everywhere. Next up, preferred adjectives support.
How do I host my own Nostr file server (from the dito GUI I can upload to my Minio instance), I'd like to self host most things :-)

You stated that people would get used to storing keys safely and cited Bitcoin keys as an example. I think that is overly optimistic and I've seen too many people lose their coins because they had no backups. Not saying I have a solution though but it will be a problem.
We will upload the QA video today as well
⚡️🚨 ALERT: On February 16, 2025, your online anonymity will disappear.
(Yes, even if you block cookies.)
Google has quietly decided to allow advertisers to use fingerprinting—a method that identifies your device without cookies.
Your IP address, your browser, your operating system, your time zone… all of this becomes your new "digital fingerprint."
The problem?
Unlike cookies, you can't erase it.
Impossible to block. Impossible to oppose.
This is a real disaster for privacy.
The ICO (the UK data protection regulator) is already sounding the alarm:
“This change is irresponsible. Users cannot give their consent or control their data.”
So why is Google backtracking?
Because advertisers are in a panic.
Cookies are disappearing, and they absolutely need to track you in another way.
The question now is: what can you do?
✅ Use a VPN (but that’s not enough)
✅ Regularly change your browser
✅ Enable anti-fingerprinting protection (Tor, Brave, specific extensions)
✅ Use Nostr (Follow nostr:npub1f4uyypghstsd8l4sxng4ptwzk6awfm3mf9ux0yallfrgkm6mj6es50r407)
And most importantly, stop believing the myth that "Google protects your privacy."

Google is the biggest danger to privacy.
Telling #nostr that I'm in a talk about #nostr 😁 #FOSDEM
