I don’t think i will ever figure it out lol. I just want btc. I can’t deal with all the technical aspects to figure it out. No one will want btc if its this complex.

This aside from government interference is what I perceive to be the biggest hurdle. The centralized on-ramps help people get started but then it doesn’t benefit them in the slightest to keep the “simplistic” perception as they will eventually need to self manage their own coins

Yeah bear market will do that to you lmao. Im more pissed about my friends who aren’t in my parents age yet they only only 21 millions, halvings, existence of mining, blockchaaaain and that’s it. There’s not even one part of Bitcoin where they went deep. At least, nearly everyone I know hold their own keys.

Isn’t hearing the passive version of listening . I would rather someone listen as opposed to hear. Hearing can be accidental, involuntary and incorrectly perceived. Listening to someone requires concentration and focus. Not assuming anything by your post just shedding light on differences.

Learning bitcoin always make you want to understand/learn more, for example bitcoin lead me to nostr and that’s another protocol that i’d like to familiarize myself with and contribute to. It encourages advancements in technology

Yea most people don’t want to take the time to understand or even care enough to understand. They go for simplicity and convenience. But they fail to realize there’s a price to pay and it’s their privacy.
