Love y'all

I know it's a gay, what aboutism, but seriously, the world did fine with self regulation without industrial intervention.

"It is a little overkill but for the price per unit and the bundle, it's not a bad deal. This person might blow through a couple of them if he doesn't set up his thermal regulations and 10Amp sense circuit. He's going to be pushing alot of heat depending on if they want to be pulsing or have it continuously on. He is going to have to also consider that even though he is supplying 155VDC, needs to consider the voltage drop and accommodate for that accordingly. Did a quick spin search and found an alternative and cheaper mosfet if he wants to try which is IRF840.

I would say my top considerations with be thermal management and current spike ( which again. If not regulated will definitely blow up hahaha or at the very least they will watch the back of the mosfet literally melt)"

He's pyramiding 😭

Do you need all 155 VDC? or can you step it down, sounds like you're aiming for current more than voltage

Okay, power is not my expertise, but I have several friends in power, let me ask them real quick

I have a load that will try to sink as much current as you can give it.

I have a generation source at ~155VDC that will trip over 15A.

I would like to regulate the current to about 10A continuous.

Would a MOSFET like this be suitable for doing this regulation?

If so, what configuration would you recommend? If not, then what solution would you suggest?

Give me an hour or two, still at work, but I will give you an answer

How about now

I don't really play games anymore 😕

It's just because I'm that spicy, pumpkin :gurafingerguns:

Is that the trick, ladies :pepe_pumpkin_dance:
