What's on the outside says something about what's on the inside.
For the serious budgeter.

My health insurance premium is nearly as much as my mortgage.
My mom is a drunk catholic. I like to start dumb arguments when she's fucked up.... like whether the pope eats breakfast before communion.
Iron can be red. Cut yourself for more details.
She's very mean. π
For example, the last four people I dealt with at the IRS were black females. Imagine how that goes given I'm a White male. The only time I see a White guy is if I'm in Tax Court.
I think it's also because positions are being filled by incompetent people. For example, I regularly deal with state and federal administrations. They're hiring based on race and gender, not skill and ability.
I think one big issue that is causing things to fester, though is very subtle, is that, at least in my experience, a lot of things just seems a lot harder to get done. It's almost like everything I have to do in life results in some conflict however minor. No one wants to help anyone anymore. Instead, it almost seems like they want to make every transaction as difficult as possible. It's no longer "hey, how can we help you? How can we get this done?" And more "why the fuck are you interrupting / inconveniencing me?" It's gotten worse since the lockdown. And while it's subtle per transaction, it has a huge effect. It makes everyone very cynical about "the system" and cycles out from there.
I didn't have shit at 24, except my girlfriend, now wife. I did have a job that paid just enough to pay rent and buy food, but I went back to school again a few years later.
GenXers that went to high school in the 80s can be a bit dense. The 90s kids are different though.
I'm PST, so I was in my bedroom still. School was a few hours off. First person.
I've been working since I was 12.
Other than a few outliers, Zoomers have zero computer literacy. They didn't have to use a command line. They didn't have to load programs into a c64, use basic interpreters, use dos, or change dip switches to avoid irq conflicts. 95% reeeee if a program doesn't just work.
As the Grand Master of the Elders of Xion, I can authoritatively say that we love you too.
You rn.

> This is a very GenX flavored post.
It's a meme. Don't read too deep. π
