Something that I recently discovered in my humble journey with #Bitcoin. Is that slowly I am starting to find people from my community who embraces it.
And just because those people are so rare, it some how makes it special. You just immediately know that you will connect with this person on a deep level even though you never met before.

The Nazi's Lebensraum (living space) concept is argued to originated from Fascist Italians as the Nazi's were NOT impressed by the British or French colonisation experiences but they were by Italy's expansion as they sent 4 delegations to Libya to witness how living space can be applied in eastern/central Europe
The Italians evacuated hundred of thousands of Libyans from east Libyan coast (fertile and green area) into death camps so that they could replace them with poor Italian farmers.
2/3 perished out of hunger and disease and locals refer to that period as "shar" which is evil in Arabic

"Genocide in Libya: shar, a hidden colonial history"
Exactly how I've had it in my mind ... your beautifully articulated it :)

Think of Data Vending Machines as little programs that can be assembled one with another.
That anyone can write.
For any kind of purpose.
Think of an algorithm, any algorithm. But being fully discoverable thanks to Nostr (read https://dev.highlighter.com/a/naddr1qqgrxwrfw5m8garwdvm85aenwajxgq3ql2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqxpqqqp65wxtanuc for more on this)
Which means that you get long-tail disitribution of as weird and cool algorithms as any developer in the world can imagine.
Immediately monetizeable via #bitcoin.
They have a lot of very interesting properties, like transparently and effortlessly making all nostr applications that support them better.
Read https://vendata.io/magic for more on these magical properties.
As an example; I didn't want to add PDF support to Highlighter. But someone built PDF support without me having to write a single line of code.
And, at the same time, adding PDF support to any Nostr client that supports DVMs.
Like I said. It's magic.
that is quite helpful... thanks for sharing
A free market for data processing based on Nostr currently developed by nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft
That's a really cool idea.
It would be nice John to eplain to non-technical people like me ... we hang out with you guys and we struggle with the technicalities :)
two state solution is practically dead now as there are far more settlers in the west bank now (compared to the 90s)
There are many references of it like this one i quickly find, but if you want Tomorrow at office i can get some more precise:
Attempts to ban coffee during these early years occurred quite regularly - often to little effect. In 1511, Khair Beg, the corrupt governor of Mecca, was executed after attempting to ban coffee - fearing that it's influence might foster opposition to his rule. The sultan on hearing about this declared that coffee is sacred and ordered the governor's death. Another try at banning coffee came from The Grand Vizir of the Ottoman Empire in 1656. He prohibited coffee and closed the coffee houses of Turkey. The penalty for drinking it, however, was nothing too serious - just a dunk in the Bosphorous in a leather satchel.

Thanks for sharing this ... both are not Arabs (one is Mamluk and the other one is Ottoman) but still, Ive learned something today
That is completely inaccurate, can you provide evidence to change my mind :)
