The opposite of globalist.

The RCMP warns the federal government Canada may descend into civil unrest once citizens realize the hopelessness of their economic situation.

Unfortunately we have a government in name only, in practice they are merely a sub-administrative layer for the one world globalists tearing it all down before their great reset.

“The coming period of recession will … accelerate the decline in living standards that the younger generations have already witnessed compared to earlier generations”

Reminiscent of that bit in The Mandibles where squatters take the old lady’s apartment. I guess we’re still following along. Subsequent chapters aren’t too pretty.

The speed with which the royal family appear to be unravelling, post QEII, is quite impressive. She timed her exit impeccably.

Likely months of productive time lost globally to such stubbornness. We do what we can.

The amount of cumulative time I’ve spent removing tracking IDs after URLs when pasting links… I refuse to perpetuate this stuff as a matter of principle.

Another way in which #nostr is superior, I suppose!

Yes I don’t really do anything public for kids stuff generally. No socials, online photos, etc.

I would love to have more conversational stuff on video but it’s challenging because I hate having the phone out around the kids, so usually end up writing it down after the fact. When I remember!

Americans, are you so flush with cheap energy you find yourselves struggling to give it away?

Apparently those dastardly #Bitcoin miners aren’t using nearly enough of the stuff because we’re considering wiring it over to Europe.

Mind you, likely more sensible than Trudeau’s Hydrogen-to-Germany idea.

Straight from the butcher.

Internet outages in Africa due to “damaged cables”. Lots of choke-points globally for data traffic; this stuff is a lot less chunky than a Nordstream pipe.

Not sure how much resilience Starlink adds as I’m sure their ground stations are using the fibre trunk networks, but hopefully there’s some useful network decentralization effects building.

$MSTR $1800 after hours.

Oh boy.

I sold a couple today at $1750, thereby ensuring the squeeze will continue to infinity. You’re welcome.

Watched the Taylor Sheridan interview on the Joe Rogan podcast recently, lots of discussion on the absolutely outstanding “1883”.

One of the main points I took from it is how close in time huge societal changes really are, and that our collective memory is very short.

Many things lie downstream of this, but anyway, here’s the US obesity rate tripling inside a single generation.

Just back from Dune Part 2, fun; loooong, but lovely cinematography. Good IMAX experience.

Life phases: now wearing concert plugs to all movies, tinnitus much better behaved with the volume 20% down.

Love mine; even it *was* just a calculator it’s a lovely bit of engineering! Appreciate the power-only connector and cold power adaptor too.

As well as the anti-freedom money pretext, this of course would result in precedent for the grubby marxists to pick other “clean” and “unclean” uses of energy and start taxing our consumption accordingly.

Energy is life. Bitcoin is the thin end of the wedge. nostr:note12907f75kehdxeyfmu6zx3tcdlrq3tdxj8y9fyaz5kgggcdudvqws3vwdqj
