Welcome to Nostr! Still early days but I find the interactions here so much more rewarding than other socials. Literally and figuratively.
There’s been a lot of “where’s retail?” talk recently. Well, two things today scared me a little. Both marked prior tops.
1. Got dragged into a WhatsApp group chat as “the crypto guy” to advise on what degenerate meme coin to buy next. People I’ve not spoken to in over a year.
2. CFO pings me on Slack to discuss his personal crypto strategy (bought in last time we were over 60k).

This is true, though I’ve even lost track of split single-sig in the past! Honestly, you have to regularly revisit these things (yearly, at least) to keep the neural pathways fresh.
Toying with single phrase backup with a simple translation or one-step change stored only in our brains. That way you could just hang the thing openly on the wall in complete security. There’s risk however you cut it really, mitigations down to personal preference and capability.
Just cooked a couple of eggs in butter and hot damn.
I thank the red-pilling daily for increasing my butter intake. If only I could take back all those margarine years.
Logically I know I should, but the thought of having double or triple the seed phrases to securely backup and keep track of spread geographically “in the real” fills me with dread.
I thought it was to stop it smelling/tasting of cut onions and other choice fridge aromas.
Butter seems to soak that stuff up.
