Is it truly a harvest month or another working month? 🥶

Today I figured - why not make a post on LinkedIn about the Harvest Month, "September" and that it can be a month Harvest depending on where you are and what you do

I made a research on which month was better, January or September based on 2023 data. This research was carried out based on the economy of Nigeria, United States of America, & Africa

These are results I got

Nigeria

While the overall economy grew, the rate was slower than in previous years, and the effects were not widely felt by the general population

Q1 2023 (January-March): The economy grew by 2.31%

Q3 2023 (July-September): The economy grew by 2.54%

Despite the economy grew throughout the year, January was still a better Harvest time than September, because while people were trying to adjust to the inflation in January (which was at 21.82%), the inflation so soared to 26.72% on September

So in essence, GDP smiled (because people worked harder), but during the time of Harvest, Famine came (because those in power didn't really understand how to channel the productivity of its citizens to good use)

United States of America

The U.S. economy's growth rate accelerated significantly throughout the year

Q1 2023 (January-March): Real GDP grew at an annualized rate of 2.1%

Q3 2023 (July-September): Real GDP growth more than doubled to a robust 4.9% (advance estimate)

All these happened due to strong customer spending and private investment, after which inflation fell by almost half from 6.4% on January to 3.7% on September

So in essence, as GDG smiled (based on productivity, Harvest was assured (because those in power understood how to channel that productivity into good use)

Africa 🌍

- For tourists, September was the best time to be in Africa. It marked the peak of the dry season in East and Southern Africa, offering ideal conditions for safaris with better visibility for spotting wildlife. It also offered cooler, more pleasant weather for travel in North African countries like Morocco and Egypt.

- For a resident, January was a better time to be in Africa from an economic standpoint. Many African economies experienced significant increases in the cost of living and sharp currency devaluations between January and September, making everyday life and imported goods much more expensive by September.

In essence, I discovered that while striving to get rewards from productivity, channels has to be in & with the wrong source

You can plant a corn on a rocky ground and get results, but you would work more than someone who planted on a muddy ground 🤑

Question 🤔 "I stay on a Rocky place, should I not plant too?"

Answer 💭 "You could plant, spend more time, energy & resources or you could channel it all into mining & electricity"

And so, the big question: Is it truly a harvest month or another working month?

And the answer is simple: It is... for some

Now I don't like doing designs at night, I consider it a time for resting, or watching movie, but I agreed (based on our past relationship)
