It's possible to emulate arm64 Android in the emulator on x86_64 but it's not officially supported by Android.

Please, with ARM-based hardware like some of System76 Thelio PCs, could that be possible?I do wonder if the Linux kernel, as a hypervisor needs to support some features forGraphene to work almost as good as a real device security-wise.

Hmm, from what I understand, memory tagging is integral to several security features of GrapheneOS, and affects how apps operate on the device.

It should be easier for us to test if our apps work well on GrapheneOS without having to fumble our way into the OS's build instructions.

If I remember correctly, there are some components to Graphene that require that it runs on real devices.
