Last night I was all set to do some long exposure photography in Auckland. Parked the car, walk for ages to find a great shot. Set up tripod get camera out and release I’ve forgotten the tripod quick release plate. 😠

I'm making small improvements to my Lightroom preset today. Recently, I collaborated with a friend to blend our editing styles, and I think we've come up with something really great.

I get what you are saying. There is a fine line between a good edit and over processed. Just use your histograms in camera to get a good exposure from the start. Then editing is a lot easier.
Malos10 please don’t take this the wrong way. Your photos are great! I just think you could get that last 10% if you did a little more editing. Just a little more contrast, exposure tweaking and colour. What software do you use to edit?

My Mac 🖥️ died about a year ago. And I lost the ability to edit photos in Capture One Pro. I had a backup of all my files on a drobo raid.
Just reinstalled COP On a pc and managed to get access to my drobo even though it was formatted for Mac.
It’s amazing having access to all your photos again and the power of great editing software.
Always backup your data.
The 3-2-1 backup strategy. You should have 3 copies of your data (your production data and 2 backup copies) on two different media (HD and SSD) with one copy off-site for disaster recovery.

Cost of living is an issue for sure. Where I’m living house prices are more than the place on the UK I’m from. Way of life is more chilled than the UK. Maybe like the UK was 20 years ago. We don’t have knife crime here.
