it might just be because this is a niche community, but it'll be interesting if this culture can scale with the masses. what if this does become the new normal? why can't it be?

i don't know anything about the protocol, but looks like there are "nodes" or "servers", and one of the default nodes on the app is @.bsky.social , so i'm guessing the names are bound to the individual "nodes" only
