As son as you put the last Democratic administrations in a timeline, it's extremely easy to realize how extreme they've become in almost everything.
There is just no tomorrow for these people, and the young ones who are backing them up without fully understand the consequences are the ones who are going to suffer the most in the long run...but I hardly believe they will be able to figure it out what was wrong at times.
Java, just to name one of the popular ones. The debugger is a complete joke.
Haha...retention-whatever. Threads was born dead.
Still thinking in centralized solutions for a decentralized platform, huh? 🤔😏
I did the same...and with time they forced me to go back to Session.
Notifications don't work (good luck with the "Always On" setting and your battery life), making/receiving calls is still useless on slow connections. I've also received so many complains about the granularity of the settings (which is generally OK for control, but the normal user want simplicity).
My only grudge is on the decentralization part. I think Session is way superior in that sense because you don't need to specify the servers, so it's all automatic. As a matter of fact, SimpleX is currently blocked in Cuba because of that — and the build your own sever path is really not an option for mainstream adoption.
