I imagine once more influencers flock to Nostr that clients will evolve to include mechanisms for content subscriptions and tiered content. At one point I thought activity pub would be better for something like that but Nostr has bitcoin...What don't you like about paying for content subscriptions on Nostr vs a separate site?

Feel like I’m putting this on Nostr because I feel alone and can’t keep talking to my mom about it.
I’m exhausted. I tried so hard to smile today. Never had so many people before tell me how glad they are I’m not hurt or worse, but it’s that same look I’ve seen for the past ten years after having had a seizure. Like I’m a different person than I was.

YES to HOPE !! If there's not already a developer working on a tiktok-esque client with similar video editing tools as TikTok already, I'm sure someone will.
Getting the masses off the corporate platforms will require deprogramming with education about how the internet works and how the corporations are ripping society apart with the addictive nature of their products. We also have to create more engaging content on here. I try to center the need to move from platforms to protocols when I pitch Nostr to folk.
How have you been pitching Nostr to your folk?
I feel like Tik Tokers are gonna come here looking for the same type of addictive stimulation on the corporate platforms and eventually fall off. The Tik Tok ban probably won't pass but I'm not holding my breath either because Mnuchin and his Zionist buddies want to squash dissent.
