Mine had a partial hole through it already from the device they used to extract. I was thinking of something similar or making it a part of some gruesome yet cool ornament. My clumsiness robbed me of the opportunity and I'm all out of wisdom teeth. I only had two anyway 🙁

I kept one of mine too but managed to lose it somewhere. Odd thing to misplace and no clue where but I like to think someone will have found it and been suitably freaked out.
Yeah, I've had my scrapes with bad health over the years but nothing so bad that I couldn't give orders and ask questions about the treatment I was receiving. Seems it might just be better to snuff it than have whatever filth pumped into one's veins in the name of 'saving your life'.

Yeah it really wouldn't be such a bad idea tbf if this is the path they're taking. They removed the same restriction here about 4 years ago so it seems prudent if one can be guaranteed to get one's own blood, but even at that I'm very distrustful of the medical establishment after the last handful of years.

In all likelihood it probably serves a few different functions, stretching and strengthening would be way up on that list, I think. Might also be some sort of territorial marker. There is no doubt that a cat calls a place home when finding maul marks on objects within.
I'd been told that it was to keep the claws sharp and in condition. Maybe I'm confusing it with rodents and teeth and their gnawing on stuff though.
