Had to grab the silver bag for the new edition so figured I’d send a pic. Mostly foreign silver coinage I got from my grandparents. Scrounged a few coins myself here and there too.
All at least 50% silver, most of it >75%. All of it is actually worth more than spot minus a couple coins. Very cool sound when I dump the bag out.
Yes, I love that sound. I have a bag of old silver I’ve scrounged up that I bust out every once in a while to hear that sound.
Found this 1965 Canadian dime in the coin star reject tray a minute ago. 80% silver for a melt value of 2,169 sats 😂😏 man I love finding treasures in the wild.
When the fiat exchange game ends and people have to provide something of value for sats is the real inflection point of this movement. I try to explain that’s the end game and people look at me like I’m insane 😂
Some people get excited by this price action. To me #Bitcoin has achieved maybe 1% of its true value. Purchasing power of a sat is still embryonic and anyone stacking today is getting DEALZ.
I got my brother, sister and best friend off exchanges, holding their own keys and using Sparrow + ColdCard mk4 this bear.
Helped them consolidate their UTXO’s and forced them to participate in the entire process so they’d get hands on experience and begin to understand #Bitcoin
It totally worked. They all have sovereign stacks, are DCAing straight to cold storage and understand the basic value prop of Bitcoin now. I feel so much better knowing they’ve found the exit from the life-sucking fiat scam.
I wouldn’t say they’re trash but I did switch to River exclusively for KYC buys a few months back for what it’s worth.
Coinbase is such a scummy scammy fiat operation
River, Strike and CashApp are the only KYC U.S. #Bitcoin exchanges worth using. #KillCoinBase aka ConBase
Better yet use Bisq or RoboSats.
They never implemented it from what I was told. Binance did but coinbase did not. I could be wrong though I have never had a coinbase account or used their service.
No Lightning. Removed Bitcoin from Coinbase “commerce”. They are obviously an enemy to Bitcoin.
In Edinburgh the lady that owned the Airbnb we stayed at cooked us a full dinner when we showed up. Scottish people are so cool.
