I can’t believe how many people in the U.S.A. want to force a 12 year old girl to carry a rape baby to term, risking her health, safety, and ability to have future children, but they can’t be bothered to wear a mask for 20 minutes in a grocery store.

So the learning curve was more about learning all the capabilities of the application. Whereas today trying to work in iMovie, the learning curve was about figuring out that all the things I *wanted* to do were hard to find, and then when I *did* figure out how to do it, discovering it was severely limited in scope. Final Cut Pro spoiled me in that way. I'm sure it's the same with Logic vs. GarageBand.

However, since it’s what most major movie studios use, I knew that whatever effect I had seen in a movie or commercial was (theoretically) possible for me to achieve as well. The creative freedom & possibility it offered was awesome. In comparison, iMovie feels like software for preschoolers, with the same limitations.
Spent all afternoon editing together a lil video for Spotify canvas, only to discover when I uploaded it that iMovie only works in the aspect ratio 16:9 with no way to change it. :AAAAAA: :sadness: 😭 🤬
