Let’s set this straight: if we do not talk about #nostr on other social platforms (yes, Twitter or x or whatever it’s called, IG, tiktok, snap, fb, etc) then we will not maximize the potential for nostr to grow the way we envision it to grow.
I know a lot of people are fine with the current vibe here - but nostr can help so many people in the world thrive in a broader digital economy. Why WOULDN’T we want to include them?
Nostr is for everyone, so let’s be welcoming and inclusive to everyone even if they aren’t hardcore idealists. Most people are not like that.

We are opposed to everything unjust and hierarchical. We are all about empowering everyone to make money moves - whether you’re a dev or a social media lurker.
Our social feature is still in ALPHA which is pre-beta, so obviously we have to make sure we don’t open the floodgates to everyone immediately. That’s not how developing an excellent app works.
