Using a loophole in the law Spotify has reclassified all their subscription music offerings into “bundles.” TRANSLATION: tens of millions plus in lower annual payments to songwriters, maybe more. They claim that combining an audio book function, that was already part of Spotify’s subscription offering, somehow makes it a “bundle”.

For far too long they have talked out of both sides of their mouth and are about to pay millions and millions less than the already meager amount they should.
