I was talking to my Mom a little bit ago about some uncomfortable truths. She said it couldn't be true because she had never heard it before. I reminded her, if she wouldn't consider anything she'd never heard before, she would never learn anything ever again. I don't know that it truly changed her outlook on life, but it definitely got her attention at the moment.
He got to drive himself the 2 previous days, but we had another driver today, so he got relegated to passenger.
We're riding ATVs all over in Wyoming. I'm riding in the back to make sure nobody has issues and so I can stop and take photos, then zoom to catch up. Today my eldest son was riding behind me. I took several photos so I was way behind. He said, "I think we are about to go extreme Mom". I guess going Mom means being cool and driving fast, so I'll take it.
The previous two days I'd been riding new ATVs with power steering. Today I was riding an old Suzuki without power steering. The fun thing about it is that the rear end will break loose so you can power slide around the corners. My son couldn't decide whether that was really cool or really scary. I thought it sure was fun. I hadn't done that in a long time.

Where we are staying we get to see lots of wild life. The 2 elk wandered by last night during dinner and the turkeys wandered by this morning during breakfast.

Let us know how they turn out. We occassionally eat bacon wrapped stuffed jalapenos for dinner, but it is a lot of work. That sounds easier.
I love the goats. Unfortunately, I can't talk my husband into us getting goats. I'm going to try to convince him to allow us to get hair sheep.
When we were driving to the Ranch we are staying at, there were scattered dangerous thunderstorms. Some had bad hail. Driving along the interstate, with everything green, there was one butte covered with white. It looked like it was covered with snow, but I'm pretty certain it was white with hail. This isn't the best picture, but it is hard to snap a great picture while driving 80 mph on the interstate. If you can zoon in, you can see it well.
