I half type so many notes then just give up because I can't articulate what I want to sayπŸ˜‚

this is an extremely cup half full point of view, I tend to be pessimistic so I never really considered it from this side. I'll try to factor this is when trying to bring more people into the spaceπŸ˜‚

my close friends don't care what they use to contact me for example so I tell them to use simplex and they download it and use it, that's great. but oh my god trying to convince family members is so much harder than it needs to beπŸ˜‚most of myfamilyy live in 3rd world countries and use apps like WhatsApp, its what they're used to and they don't care about privacy. I'm using chat apps as an example but I think the idea is the same, the privacy focused alternatives need to get BETTER than the competition. I think this is the only way mass adoption will occur, using privacy, anti censorship etc as a selling point will not work for the masses

if you're trying to quit a bad habit and you have some friends incetivising you not to, then you need to spend significantly less time with them/cut them off entirely for a bit, depending on how pushy they are. after a while when they see you reaping the benefits of cutting of the habit if they actually care about you they will apologise to you and maybe even stop with you, if they don't then go find yourself better company.

normal people when twitter learns everything about them "what a great feature!!πŸ˜πŸ˜‹πŸ’˜πŸ’‹πŸ”₯πŸŽŠπŸŽ‰"

not good enoughπŸ˜”

people dont ⚑ like they used to

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ carbon neutral term is so silly like yeh I did that but I planted some trees so in 50 years time it won'tmatterr what I did trust me😭😭

wtf when I looked at it first both queens were diagonal now they're notπŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€
