I watched the debate. There doesn’t seem to be a recognition by the media of just how bad our government currently is. Maybe it’s because they are part of the class that currently benefits from the corruption. Eventually change will come. It will be either that America no longer resembles the Republic the founders fought to create, or it will be cleansed. Shame to us who lived to see the former if it comes to pass.

Rather than destroy free markets, tariffs impose a penalty on those who would flaunt them for their own benefit. Bravo @michael_stumo https://t.co/CJIRx7BnxH

If it’s illegal then why is the Vice President even asked to certify? The fact that the Vice President is asked to certify implies that the Vice President could decline to certify. If not, then why even have the Vice President certify? This seems pretty obvious to me. What’s the catch?

Taxpayer funded gender transition for detained migrants?! My head hurts!

Since China is not a part of the free market system, the price is artificially low. The tariffs restore the price to a level that allows US manufacturers to compete. Those manufacturers provide jobs for Americans. Jobs the policies of the last 3 decades have ensured went to China. You are a part of the problem. America has lost millions of jobs and our leaders have allowed that to happen despite the damage to Americans. Not only that, but when we have a crisis or conflict then we are dependent on our enemies for critical supplies.

If @dallascowboys go anywhere in the offseason it will be because Zimmer fixed the defense.

I served for almost 30 years in an Air Force where numerous networks existed simultaneously, but didn’t actually work together. This is due to a particular problem with acquisition. Today a requirement drives a solution. For example, that solution may be a F-35. That solution needs a network, so the contractor creates one. That network has capabilities that may enhance the solution, but ultimately is not designed according to a set of common infrastructure standards. When the solution arrives, a requirement then exists to connect to other networks, like that of the F-22. So an interface is created. @sempre_usa decided to develop an infrastructure solution that relies on commercial standards to create a common interface. This serves two goals. 1) Enable DoD to easily integrate legacy networks and have them quickly work with commonly accessible devices and applications. 2) Enable the commercial sector to deploy military grade infrastructure without the bloated cost. Finally, we partnered with a national carrier to deploy this technology at 10x savings to traditional deployments. That is how innovation should work.

China has done a great job of controlling how DC thinks about the relationship.

Hong Kong is China. Best to understand that.

That’s why China manufacturers everything
