Just talked to a #toyota sales rep: there’s no way to have a new vehicle customized without all of the surveillance tech - no way to get rid of the big ass screen or all the unnecessary electronics. Who is going to launch a small business refitting older vehicles or manufacturing cars without all the tech bc I am never buying another new car again at this rate.

New study suggests people who tested negative for Covid-19 can still develop long Covid

I mean, that's common sense. Not everybody comes up on a RAT, it can depend on when you test, and then there are people who never tested at all. But a third of infected develop long COVID...is that enough for you to keep masking?

SIgh, NPR this morning said Trump's lifelong corruption and attempt to overthrow a national election isn't "quite" equivalent to Hunter Biden's sleaze.

I suppose this is progress -- given that NPR has been the champion of false equivalence, "both sides" bullshit in American broadcasting.

At this rate, NPR will arrive at telling basic truths in 2050 or so.
