ELI5 paid relays!?
I understand relays in general, but is it me or paid relays don’t really address spam? They might block it, but it’s not really practical to only join paid relays so you’ll still see spam anyways in global?
Or is the main benefit of paid relays speed?

WOS has 3 options to receive. Lightning, Bitcoin and lightning address. Pick the last one.
It will generate an address and an alias that looks like an email. You can use either on your profile but the email Alias is more human friendly.
The feature is not available in Damus yet, hopefully soon. Not sure about Iris. The iris web client has zaps, might not be in the app yet.

MUUN only allows the creation of invoices that have an expiration date. That won’t work with Nostr as you need a static address that won’t change.
I use WoS for Nostr and keep most of my sats in MUUN as it’s a custodial wallet.
No. If you are using the free version you cannot use the image for commercial purpose, ex an ad you are paid for. If you have a subscription you can use the images as you wish, even to make money.
But you are right in that since they cannot be copyrighted anyone could use the same image.

I’d love to see Nostr become a Reddit-like group of communities. For example, on Twitter if I am in yoga, Bitcoin, photography and knitting, I can’t really post about any of these topics without boring 3/4 of my followers. Not every note need to be broadcasted to everyone.
Maybe that’s where relays will eventually come in handy?
But 90% of the convos here are about Bitcoin! The remaining 10% are conspiracy theories about the government and aliens. Lol
