Nostr needs a decentralized ICANN-like replacement for NIP05…
What could it be? How would it work?

I see where you’re going with that…If not for this logo, I’ll make sure to use that concept somewhere.

It is this way, because of two reasons:
It is more compact, so it can show larger on profile pics…
In the future, I’m hoping to hide a nostrich in the design.
The “o” is the body of the ostrich, the “s” becomes its head, part of the “w” & “r” become its legs.
We’re keeping it for those directly involved in the planning of the next unconference, who choose to display this NIP05.
It’s to add a layer of trust in unconference communication channels.
Time keeps moving. To find nostrica now, search for nostrasia@nostr.world

can read "NWO".
How about **No**str **Wo**rld shorted to NOWO but with the W with two overlapping V so it reads a bit like NOVO - NEW?
Thank you so much for your comment. I’m always appreciative of ideas, you never know where they are going to lead…
I have only one “o,” thinking of the concept of “one world.”
I like the spirit of something new, but what happens as the years go by? Could it be thought of as nostr constantly innovating across time? I’ll see what I can do.
It’s always interesting to see what each person notices. To me, it reads like “now.”
switching NIP05’s from nostrica.com to nostr.world
first #nostrworld unconferences landing page is live!
We each experience the world in different ways. As I work on the design for #nostrworld (future home of the unconferences), the idea behind its logo is to reveal a part of the world we live in.
In this case, it is a photograph of Tokyo at night (by pawel nolbert).

I like that the settings are focused on privacy by default.
Feels speedy.
Has special Mullvad & blocker extensions, also an option to clear identity, which I hadn’t seen elsewhere.
I don’t understand why there’s extra padding on windows, but that’s an easy fix.
