Exploring nostr development… reach out if you’re a builder!

Is Doug Hoyte, the author of strfry, even on nostr?

Having a hard time finding him…

I just made a profile display page yesterday…

Wireshark and nostr app development are a match made in heaven

Justin Trudeau’s Government is trying to tax Meta and Google for relaying news links in Canada, so they can redistribute some of it to the authors. Since, Meta has simply filtered those posts, peacefully solving the problem.

Now, the Canadian Government is both asking them to put that info back and send the money.

On nostr, there is no intermediary. So here is a free link on a french newspaper article about this exact subject:

is there anybody working on rss for nostr?

are people using this chrome extension? seems cool, first time I come across it… https://www.getflamingo.org

have we got github on nostr yet?

ironically been away from nostr dev since I’m back from nostrica… that’ll change starting tomorrow!

aside from the nips repo, where should I expect to get the best info about protocol developments that have happened since?

uses nostr-rs-relay 0.8.1 under the covers... this thing adds a UI that makes debugging a breeze!

is there some other relay implementation with such a useful user interface?

just popped the umbrel relay without an umbrel... just docker-compose.

https://github.com/getumbrel/umbrel-nostr-relay

anybody here tried to use a private nostr relay for system events?

for instance, in the morning, I’d love to have a nice summary of all daily backup operations that happened overnight on my servers, straight in my favorite nostr client…

nice rocket you got there!

this video is a bit long, but it definitely convinced me to make the switch to nixos https://youtu.be/6Le0IbPRzOE
