great smelling individual

okay according to this issue, it appears wasm is not a main focus of iced. so i may wait to use it with another project. good suggestion though! https://github.com/iced-rs/iced/issues/1974#issuecomment-1764964311

maybe. the link in the readme to the web runtime goes to iced_web which is an archived repo https://github.com/iced-rs/iced_web

oh according to the readme, it does web. so perhaps i'll go this route instead.

iced would be cool, but i _think_ that's for desktop apps. this would be more a PWA in the browser.

do i dare make my next small project in dioxus 0.6.0? #asknostr #rust #developer

a thought. so it appears that the kamala team is pushing narratives to try to pull in the woman vote. but she can't get elected just on that. so they will have to get some men. so there could be a push to get women to convince their husbands. now hear me out. with kamala's background in felatio, what are the chances we get a "blowjobs for kamala" at some point? #politics

should i make this new thing i'm making purely a self-host thing or should i host a version as well? #asknostr #developer

it's not specific to bitcoin. money should not be the goal. it's a means to an end. find the things in life you truly value and pursue those things. those things bring real happiness. more money does not once you're able to meet basic necessities and have a little extra for the things you truly value.

kind of. only for DMs with existing convos afaik. and when it works.

centralized platform full of bots looking for certain keywords to then spam people offering shitty jobs to people who don't know better. at least as a dev, it was completely pointless. i would just get hit up by recruiters all the time for shit i don't do anymore of have never done because it's all "automated." i never got any job or found anything interesting on there. i also had a friend that did any experiment where he made up a fake person and farmed fake reviews from people and he started getting all kinds of job offers and such.

if you want to get a job you actually enjoy, my recommendation would be to do a little bit of networking in person at meetups and actually build things. don't depend on rando messages on linkedin.
