If a social media platform is controlled by a single company, there will be censorship for sure. On the other hand, if a platform is decentralised and open-sourced, there will be much less censorship.

What is good about Nostr is that users can control what they read, hear and see like you said. Truly splendid.

Of late, Apple seems to believe that the faster the Mac, the better. Whilst speed is certainly important, I have a feeling that users are seeking something more special.

Compared to GPT-3.5, GPT-4 generates far more simple and clean program codes. ChatGPT is helping my work a lot.

One of the reasons K-Pop idols are successful worldwide is that they can speak fluent English. Look at Blackpink. Jennie is showing off her fantastic English (and dance) in HBO’s The Idol. I guess Japanese idols have got to work very hard.

Threads is going to be decentralised soon. It’s using ActivityPub just like Mastodon.
